Thomas Ware and Sons Ltd have been operating since 1840 and remain the biggest of the traditional British leather pit tanneries.
Using a combination of time-honoured leather tanning techniques and modern technology, they produce a range of leathers for customers all over the world.
In 2018 they were awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade.
